The owners of Taipei Fun House give a very personal approach with how they run their locations; they truly care about each guest they have and want them to feel welcome and active in Taipei. Both locations (a short walk from the MRT) are on the brown line, but the blue and red transfer stations are only a couple stops away, making getting around easy.
If you need ideas on what to do, see, or where to eat, the owners will be happy to help you out; they know the city extremely well. If you would rather eat in, both locations have full kitchens for guest use. The rooms are spacy enough to be comfortable, and usually for two guests at a time (comfortable beds, too). Both locations are near notable Taipei spots like Brass Monkey, Taipei Arena, Jolly's, and Songshan Airport. As hostels go, Fun House is very impressive.
