Galerie Grand Siècle is undoubtedly one of the most high-profile art galleries in Taipei. It functions as both a commercial and experimental gallery, and the mix is extremely intriguing. Although it presents work in a variety of media (from more traditional paintings and prints, to installations) it specializes in new media art.
In 2007 Galerie Grand Siècle participated in an international art fair LOOP Video Art in Barcelona and won the first prize in two major categories (best gallery and best art performance).
From the established to the emerging artists, the goal of the gallery is to promote Taiwanese new media arts within local and international context. They organized exhibitions in many cities such as: Paris, Cologne, Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Geneva, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong.
