Sogo is one of Taipei's most popular department stores. A sort of upmarket one-stop shop, home to a number of high-end luxury brand headquarters and gourmet food retailers.

Also in here, you'll find high end lifestyle stores (a full house from Gucci to Burberry) and a great selection of imported foods in the resident gourmet grocer. This popular SOGO, Zhongxiao branch, is located just outside of Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station - where the Taipei metro blue and brown line intersect. Particularly convenient is Zhongiao Fuxing MRT station exit (from the blue Bannan Taipei metro line) directly into the Sogo shopping center. A number of buses also stop directly outside of Sogo's Zhingxiao branch.
Take note that SOGO has huge seasonal sales, so it's good to take note of when these are if you have a big shopping spree in mind.
