Pineapple cakes are a Taiwanese staple and a great souvenir to bring home.  Sunny Hills has been making their Sunny Delights for over 50 years and uses only the finest ingredients to create their delicious cakes.  Indigenous fresh pineapples from the Ba Gua Mountains are the key ingredients in the filling.  These fresh ingredients are evident in the cake versus the overly sweet puree filling of some competitors.  The solo shop in Taipei sells only cakes and juice and is always busy, but you will be offered some samples to make the wait a bit more enjoyable!. You can not leave Taiwan without trying pineapple cakes!
