Miniatures Museum of Taiwan
Taipei
Taiwan houses an eclectic collection of museums and the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is one of them. Opened in 1997, the museum continually adds miniature displays and artwork that feature works of artists in Europe and America. It is the first museum in Asia to show different rooms around the world and houses the smallest working TV in the world! Apart from the physical structure of the rooms, situations were also recreated. For example, there are miniatures showing how life in Japan looked like in the olden days.
There is also the majestic Rose Mansion that was demolished in California decades ago. There are also re-enactments of the famous Disney movies such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is a great place to go for kids and adults alike. It's especially an ideal place for people who appreciate art and craftsmanship.
