Next up, we'll journey to Jiufen, a charming mountain town steeped in history and mystery. Wander through its narrow alleyways, lined with traditional teahouses and lantern-lit shops. Don't forget to sample some of Jiufen's famous street snacks, from taro balls to fish balls! (Jiufen's stairs? Not for the faint of heart! • Starting January 1, 2025, Jiufen will enforce holiday traffic controls (8 AM–8 PM). Tour buses and private cars must park in designated lots, with visitors taking shuttle buses to Jiufen Old Street. Please note that tour itineraries may vary due to weather conditions and traffic, ensuring your safety and enjoyment. Jiufen Old Street: A fun maze for the adventurous, but a stair workout for others. Not a fan of stairs? No worries—we’ve got plenty of other great tours without the climb!
