Tonghua Night Market

This nigh market, deceivingly  called 'Tonghua Market' (通化街夜市), is actually located on Linjiang Street. If you are looking for the best local food in Taipei check out this place, where chefs prepare traditional Taiwanese delicacies.

You can refuel at one of the countless of food vendors, which include much beloved stinky tofu, peanut cilantro ice-cream roll, deep fried chicken legs, sesame buns or caramelized sweet potatoes, among other tasty offerings.

Tonghua Night Market is smaller in scale than its famous counterparts (namely Shilin and Shida night markets) but it is very accessible and far less touristy. It is conveniently located near Taipei 101.
