Xinyi Public Assembly Hall occupies four buildings, from a bygone era of Taipei. These houses, previously occupied by mlitary dependents, have been repurposed for retaining a some of Taiwan's heritage.
This space regularly features exhibitions, cultural events and art installations. On weekends, the square is occupied by a creative market, agricultural market and live band. As a peformance and community hall, this antiquated space is a beautiful contrast to the modern Xinyi surroundings. A great way to enjoy local, fresh produce and enjoy the modernity of Taipei simultaneously. To travel to Xinyi Public Assembly Hall take the Taipei metro to Taipei 101 MRT station.
