Le Pigeonnier bookstore

Le Pigeonnier, 'the pigeon library', is an important French bookstore in Taipei, if not the only one. Located in a neighborhood which is friendly to cultural activities, Le Pigeonnier also hosts some cultural activities themselves sometimes. It's not a big chain bookstore, but still carries many different kinds of French books, plus some DVDs and things you would expect to see in a traditional bookstore.

Le Pigeonnier opens between 9:30AM and 6:30PM on weekdays, 11AM to 7PM on weekends. Unlike many Taiwanese bookstores which open till 9PM. Wheather you are a French speaking, traveler looking for a leisure read, or living here for a longer time and looking for more serious read, Le Pigeonnier will be able to meet your individual needs.
