Mono Mono is one of Taipei's best-kept secrets. Obscured by lush greenery, Mono Mono is on Anhe Road. Although it may seem quiet from outside, Mono Mono is often heaving with Taipei's most cool and cultured.

This gastropub is fashionably furnished, with an upmarket drinks selection - and a menu of Asian fusion food to boot. They are famous for their excellent whiskey selection, and many expatriate whiskey fans name this place as one of their favourites.

Although Mono Mono has an air of exclusivity it's still an accessible (and fairly affordable) bistro-bar with excellent service.  The closest MRT station is Xinyi-Anhe station.
