On the seventh floor of the ATT4Fun building in Taipei's glamorous Xinyi district, is one of the newest clubs attracting Taipei socialites. Spark ATT is a large space in the same building as some of Taipei's other well-known classy clubs, Myst and Halo.
Opened in 2013, Spark ATT quickly became one of Taipei's premier clubbing venues. The hefty door entrance charges, big-name international acts, strict dress code and pricey bar add an air of exclusivity to this venue. What Spark does do to add a touch of class is that they have none of the hot-pantsed booty shaking stage dancers you may find in other Taipei clubs. Spark's service comes with an air of sophistication and to give a nod to that, the brand promoted in the club is Dom Perignon.
The dance floor is obviously the focus here and resident DJs play remixes of popular club anthems. Spark ATT is also known for hosting Ibiza DJS and other commercial DJs topping the charts. A range of beers and spirits are available here and the wait at the bar is manageable - not as bad as most other Taipei clubs. For those wanting to skip the line, you may reserve a table. But take note there is a fee involved and bottle purchases (at quite a mark-up) are required.
Be sure not to wear flip-flops or shorts if you're planning an evening in this glitzy club. When the dance floor becomes to much, step outside onto the balcony to enjoy a gorgeous view of the Taipei skyline.
