Elephant Mountain

This is not as much a mountain as a very nice, short hiking trail. The hike itself is nice enough, it is a nice bit of greenery in the middle of the city, but the destination is amazing. Once you reach the end of the trail you have one of the nicest views of Taipei available, with the 101 so close you feel you can touch it.

The hike is easy to do in both the day as well as at night, and offers stunning views either time. So go to the end of the red MRT line, and get ready to climb some stairs!
