Formosa Fun Coast

Taipei

Fun for Kids

What kid doesn't like to go to a water park and drag their parents with them? For parents who don't like such a long commute from Taipei, Formosa Fun Coast is the place to go. It's a mere 30-minute drive from downtown and there are buses heading there from the Guandu MRT station along the red line. Formosa Fun Coast is perhaps the most-visited water park in northern Taiwan.

There's the Fun Coast that offers slides, wave pools and water play areas. And then, there's the Green World that includes several carefully designed facilities including the Reptile Hall, which features over 40 different rare animals. The most memorable thing a kid should go for, which also means a long queue, is the Sky Pool. This is the longest slide in this part of Asia. It takes 15 minutes to complete the whole trip down the five pools suspended off the ground.
