The Shin Kong Cinemas is located on the third and fourth floors of the Shangye Building (also called the Lion Building) in Ximending. The Ximen MRT (Exit 6) is the nearest stop and it's approximately ten minutes away on foot. There are three viewing halls at the Shin Kong Cinemas that can host a total of around 1,500 people.
There are times, however, when the theater chooses to screen just one popular movie, so be sure to check the listings before heading out the door. Shin Kong cinemas has plenty of food for customers to choose from. There is also a cafe on site for those wanting more than the traditional movie snacks.
