Taipei Children's Recreation Center

Taipei Children's Recreation Park is an imaginative, fairytale space that combines elements of drama and education in its design. Consisting of a 'World of Yesterday,' 'World of Tomorrow,' and 'World of Amusement' the park is a creative space that interacts with the children who visit it and beckons to fantasty. The 'World of Yesterday' has a traditional aethetic - marrying components of Taiwanese and Cantonese architecture.

Here children walk through scenes of old Chinese folktales, engaging with the stories integral to Taiwanese culture by walking on stilts, playing instruments, or using antiquated toys. In 'World of Tomorrow' an ecological movie is played in an IMAX cinema. The favourite, 'World of Amusement,' is a ferris wheel. On sepcial days, events and opbluc classes are held here too. Closed on Mondays.
