Taiwan chock full of restaurants that serve seafood so searching for such is not hard. But 89 Seafood (89海鮮) is where to go for those seeking great big crabs! This is no understatement; 89 has nothing but fresh, massive crabs imported from Hokkaido, Japan, far too much for a solo eater.

Truly, this place is for groups given the higher prices and the large serving portions. Legs are barbecued while the rest of the crab are served raw to be cooked by hot pot. What should also be know about 89 is that they are more local-friendly with its minimalist appearance and Chinese-only menu. That said, seafood seeking tourists would make the best of visiting 89.

Be advised that when ordering crab to order in advance and make a reservation; business volume here tends to be high.
