Bongos

Bongos was opened in 2003 and serves Taipei with its own takes on American and Mexican style cuisine.This spot has a solid base of regular customers among locals and foreign students, thanks to proximity from Taida University (moved to Roosevelt Rd - 羅斯福路). Within the very casual setting lies a very extensive menu that anyone could eventually find a favorite on. For the American fare, one can easily find a long list of burgers and sandwiches.

For the Mexican side, see the quesadillas, burritos, tacos, and wraps. Other menu items include pastas, salads, and sausages. Even try a meal plate with sides if having a bigger appetite. Bongos retains the same owners and recipes since opening and still satisfies visitors beyond their regular crowd, so this spot is a safe bet for a good meal.
