Chiffon Cake

Chiffon is an inexpensive option for an indulgent tea time. Near Zhongshan MRT station on Taipei's brown line, Chiffon's prices are notably fair considering the glossy part of town it's located in. Light meals are also avaialble but these are mostly taiwanese interpretations of Western cuisine, so take note that you may have to give a little room on the definition of a chicken schnitzel.

At Minsheng East Road, Chiffon is very accessible for Taipei's business people. Best to have here is a cure to sugar cravings. Chiffon serves a variety of cookies, pineapple cakes and ,of course, chiffon cakes. Chiffon is open from Monday to Saturday, and lunch hours are 12-2pm, dinner hours are 5:30-8:30pm. The afternoon teatime is from 2-5:30pm.
