China Pa

Taipei

Taiwanese and Chinese

China Pa serves Taiwanese-inspired cuisine and enigmatically titled cocktails, like ''Farewell My Concubine'' or ''Tale of the Forbidden City''.  The opulent, opium den interior  is lined with plush textiles and intricately carved dark wood furnishings, dimly lit in amber by low-hanging, paper lanterns. As one of Taipei's few live music venues, China Pa is a perfect place for dinner or late night drinks. China pa offers live music every evening from 9:30PM onwards, with a variety of nostalgic favourites throughout the week. Charming performers send nostalgic favourites - from jazz to swing and thirties big band - singing through China Pa's swell soundsystem.  A boogie is encouraged and requests are always welcome. China Pa, is situated in Xinyi area, near the interesection of Xinyi and Anhe road, right outside of Taipei's new Xinyi-Anhe MRT station on the red line.
