Flavors Restaurant (Swedish)

Flavors Restaurant adds Swedish cuisine to Taipei's already international food choices. Management (Stephanie and her husband, Chef Ola) works hard to bring Swedish signature dishes to Taiwan, as well as more modern varieties to integrate with the international scene without taking away from their culture. The atmosphere is very cozy and directed to those seeking a more elegant place (not kid-friendly). Appetizers include herring, salmon tartar, smorgasbord, and meatballs in Chef Ola's signature jam.

The main courses include venison, lamb, smoked salmon, among others; each dish is served with a unique specialized sauce. For dessert, check out tiramisu or apple cake. Reservations are recommended (and for lunch, a day in advance and minimum 6 people required). The restaurant is clearly something different in Taipei. Flavors is located right between Xinyi Anhe and Zhongshiao Dunhua MRT stations, right between red and blue lines.
