Hestia Tapas Bar

Hestia Tapas Bar (西班牙小酒館) is one of Taipei's spots for Spanish cuisine. It can be easy to miss as it is down a very secluded ally, just look for the tell-tale red and yellow sign high up above. The whole restaurant sits under a red and brown ceiling lit by mosaic lamps.

For the menu, try the chili-flavored sausage, chorizo salad, croqueta, beef rib steak, calamari rings, pizza, and of course paella, with much more. Drinks are covered here ('Bar' is in the name, after all), try the classic sangria or a bottle of Spanish wine. The prices can go from mid-range to high, depending on what is ordered, and there is even a 10% service charge on the final bill. Hestia is worth seeking out for fans of Spanish food, or homesick Spaniards.
