In the tourist-happy Danshui riverside area, is Kooks restaurant (異嗑堂). Kooks does simple food in style and joy. Here you'll find wraps, sandwiches, burgers, salads and pastas - all served with homemade marinades, pestos and dressings. A great place to come with a bunch of friends, order in bulk and get a bit of everything by sharing platters and so on.
Being known for their large portions, you will be pleasantly surprised when your extra large burger and generous portion of crispy fries arrives at the table.
If fries and burgers aren't your thing, try the chicken caeser salad which is sure to satisfy any salad lover. In addition to the made to order food, Kooks also offers a variety of beers and wines.
