True to its name, this restaurant brings this delicate and exclusive shellfish to Taipei. Lobster Bar goes far beyond your standard fried seafood dishes. All the ingredients are fresh, carefully prepared and presented in creative combinations. The chef shows inventiveness in main courses, combining local ingredients with French cooking techniques.
With lunch sets in the 400-700NTD range, the food does cost a pretty penny. But at the end of the day, it is lobster. And not just any lobster. Wild lobster imported from Canada.
A high standard of cuisine and modern atmosphere can be expected here. While the emphasis is on lobster, the menu also offers a wide range of choices: from Duck Truffle Risotto, Prime Rib Eye Steak to elevated Fish & Chips. Without being pretentious, this fusion restaurant serves superb food, wines and cocktails.
This restaurant has quickly climbes up on the chart of Taipei City's gourment food. Open until midnight on weekdays and 2AM on weekends, The Lobster Bar is also a superb option for some late night eating.
