An upmarket location, with swanky bar and black leather booth seating, Major K is a great way to enjoy Korean cuisine in style. This smart casual restaurant is full of the fairly trendy, rather than the formal. In Taipei's East area, Major K is conveniently nearby the Anhe restaurant area and Xinyi shopping district. Signifying a field of study in the name 'Major K', the restaurant's chefs are all Korean-trained, to maintain the authenticity of the restaurant's Korean cuisine. All of Major K's chefs partner with Korean food and beverage heavyweight - CJ Group. Having worked in CJ Group's fine dining restaurants throughout Seoul, Major K's chefs not only guarantee authenticity of flavour; but also an insight into the real ritual of Korean dining.

Korean art and decor add flare to Major K's monochromatic, contemporary interior. For those who have never experienced Korean cuisine, Major K is offers an excellent introduction to first-timers. The menu does not limit itself to the usual tofu hot pots or bulgogi bowls - although you will find all of the Korean classics, common in most of Taipei's Korean eateries.
