Mary's Hamburger first opened back in 1979 to serve the foreign population from the Taipei American School and the Japanese School. Since then, it's name has been synonymous with burgers in Taipei. The original Tianmu location closed, but it has reopened in Neihu district, Taipei. It features the same menu as the original.
Mary's is famous for its cheap, yet tasty, burgers, made fresh when ordered. The jumbo chili dog is another popular menu item, as are the crispy fries. Wash it all down with sugarless iced tea. The new store location Neihu is a bit off the beaten path but a nice neighbourhood.
