Momo Paradise

A famous Taipei chainstore, Momo Paradise, offers an affordable solution to the starving. For a set price per person, you can enjoy unlimited shabu shabu or sukiyaki (raw meats or vegetables cooked in a hot broth). Momo Paradise offers a great range of super thinly sliced meats (all the better to cook them with my dear!) and veggies for the hungry, although ''all you can eat'' is limited to 90 minutes for dinners, weekends and holidays.

Prices per person range from $300 - $500 depending on your set choice. What is a delightful change from the usual shabu shabu is that Momo Paradise offers four hot pot flavours to choose from - original shabu shabu, sukiyaki (a sweet, soy marinade), tonkatsu (pork bone) and spicy miso.

Hot pot is a fun way of dining and inserts some interactivity into the act of eating.   Although the menu is only available in Chinese, it's an easy outing to navigate as an English speaker - just choose from the trays of waiters passing by.
