Silks Palace

Taipei

Silks Palace is right across the parking lot from the supreme landmark that is the National Palace Museum, making it the most ideal spot for a meal before or after a tour there. The building was designed to pay total respects to the museum's surrounding greens, while the interior was designed by an award-winning Japanese decorator by following 'frosting' art of the Sung Dynasty.

For groups, Silks Palace has VIP themed rooms on the second floor, and banquets can be booked for the third floor. As for the menu, find options that are taken after the museum's exhibitions: meat-shaped stone, Tureen in Ting Cauldron, Jadeite Cabbage, and more. If you are one of the many who enjoyed the trip to the NPM, Silks Palace will surely match the excellent experience. Make sure to call before you go there to check on the different opening hours of each floor.
