The Maokong mountain area is rightfully popular for the tea plantations where locals produce brews that nearly all visitors enjoy. The second tea house one to ever be opened in this area is Yao-Yue Tea House (邀月茶坊).

Besides the plentiful special tea brews served here, Yao-Yue offers traditional Taiwanese food, made from seasonal ingredients, such as steamed and soup dumplings, rice cakes, blood cakes, soy beans and chicken, with much more.

This establishment even offers meal sets for groups that feed between six to eight people. Traditional food and tea with even outdoor seating for lucky guests. The finer points of Maokong Dining. Yao-Yue is open 24 hours a day, with different menu items and prices at different times.
