Directions to Dixiajie Second-Hand Bookstore
Perched around the bend from the famous Din Tai Fung restaurant, is Dixiajie (地下階) Used Bookstore. Very Harry Potter-esque, Dixiajie is down from a seemingly unstable staircase. But do not let it worry you, because spiraling down the narrow steps, you will go into a lair littered with dog-eared treasures.
Rummage through piles upon piles of vintage posters, collectable pins, postcards, vinyl, CDs and second-hand literature, alive with subtext of its previous owner. Readers are rushed through or prodded to purchase, Dixiajie gladly welcomes browsers, or seated perusers. A treasure trove for vintage fiends. Dixiajie is just around the corner from Dongmen MRT station (Yellow Line).
