Philippe Staib - famous art lover and collector - owns many galleries worldwide. In 1961 he was fortunate enough to work with Samuel Beckett and to meet Alberto Giacometti. The encounter changed his life and provided an immense opportunity to get familiar with the world of sculpture.
Staib started collecting art-pieces, and in 1990 opened his first gallery in New York. Ever since he has been promoting the art of sculpture across three continents. His gallery in Taipei represents artists from Asia, Europe and America. They also execute public monuments and smaller, private commissions.
Among international artists co-operationg with the gallery are: Hans Van De Bovenkamp, Paul Suttman, Val, Pascal Morabito, Valerie Honnart, Copper Tritscheller, Karen Petersen, Simon Rulquin and Aima St Hunon.
