Established in 2006 by a group of key members in the contemporary art scene in Taiwan, VT Artsalon is an artist-run space set up for promoting contemporary art in Taiwan to public and introducing more young artist to the art scene.
In 2012, VT Artsalon moved to current location from the original location in Yitong Park area and started to provide more resources to younger generation and provided more open calls to artists and curators. Different from other galleries, museums or artist-run spaces by single artist, VT Artsalon is a choice of a group of artists to make contemporary art in Taiwan to be seen and appreciated.
