Taipei's ethnology museum, Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines, primarily works to educate its visitors on the history and anthropology of Taiwan's indigenous peoples. Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines, gathers and archives research pertaining to the native people of Taiwan. Here, guests tour displayed artefacts that inform our understanding of these local people and their way of living.
Serving as a hub, for the study of aboriginal Taiwanese people,Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines regularly hosts activities and events aimed at promoting Taiwan's unwritten history, for the sake of fostering informed mutual respect between the different ethnic groups inhabiting the island. Take note the museum is closed on Mondays.
