Since its inauguration in 1996, the Taipei Astronomical Museum is one of the most unique museums in this part of Asia. Not only do tourists make a stop here, this is also a perfect place for field trips. Students of all ages are blown away by the spacious interior and the overflowing knowledge and demonstration of what else is there in the universe.

The exhibitions areas are from the 1st to the third floor. On the first floor cover ancient astronomy, the earth and space technology. The second floor shows visitors displays of the celestial sphere and constellation, the solar system, a rainbow corridor and a telescope and observatory area. Up one floor takes you to the stars, the galaxy and cosmology. You can access all three for only NT$40.

If you're willing to shell out the money to experience their IMAX theater (NT$100), 3D theater (NT$100) and Cosmic Adventure (NT$70), you won't regret it. Watch shows and go on a travel through space in the trendiest way!
