Aaleja

In Taipei, Aaleja is the place to go for geniune Indian-Pakistan cuisine. With a trendy intimate interior and excellent service, Aaleja restaurant is open for lunch from 11AM to 2PM and dinner from 5PM to 10:30PM.  All meat served here is Halal and although alcoholic beverages are not on sale here, patrons are permitted to bring their own.

Aaleja does charge a pretty-ish penny but is on par with Taipei's other leading South Asian restaurants. Though the prices are premium, everything here is authentic right down to the ghee. Aaleja offers a great selection of appetizers, sides and tandoori dishes. An average meal costs $400 - $500 per person.
