Marco Polo

The Marco Polo is a prized restaurant of the Far Eastern Plaza Hotel. The restaurant has a fancy interior, but will really stand out is the view outside: The heart of downtown Taipei, including the entire 101 tower. It is absolutely breathtaking whether at day or night. If lucky enough to book the lounge or private dining area, find the vast glass wall to take in the entire sight.

As for the menu, the prices are a little higher (including a 10% service charge on the final bill) but comparatively low for a 5-star hotel. Steaks, pastas, meat and seafood platters, even lunch and dinner sets for groups with big appetites. For a drink, Marco Polo has guests covered with its own extensive bar. From 1430 to 1700, the Lounge even offers a tea time for visitors (minimum 2) who can get drinks, sandwiches, and dessert. There are also late hours for drinking a shot of fine wine and whisky etc.
