Merlot Cafe & Bistro

Founded in 2012, Merlot Cafe & Bistro specializes in Italian cuisine and is very popular in Taipei. As the place is rather small (only about a capacity of 20) the place can get full quickly. Dishes offered here range from pasta (Bolonese, vegetable, among others), to lamb chops, risotto, pizza, steaks, and of course salads. All orders will have a 10% service charge on the final bill.  

For wine lovers, Merlot's offers a range of wine from around the world, from premium prices to wallet friendly to match anyone's budget and tastes. Since seating is limited, reservations are advised and it is even possible to order food when making them (with advice from management concerning personal tastes). The advantage to such a smaller place makes an atmosphere much more personal and homely to guests.
