As a German-owned bakery, this restaurant does great authentic German cuisine - to be best enjoyed with one of the Bavarian beers on offer. For best value, order a platter for the table - meaty cold cuts, cheese and sauerkraut! The spacious, air-conditioned interior offers relief from the scorching weather in summertime.
During the Winter, Wendel is even better - naturally accommodating to the comfort food cravings that cold weather brings. Breads, buns, danishes and pretzels are all served freshly baked and heated from the oven, if requested. Wendel's does German cuisine right - hot and heavy. The Daan branch is located close to the MRT Sun-Yat-Sen Memorial Hall MRT exit 2 (blue line).
