World Soy Bean Milk King Yonghe

Many people living in Taiwan drink soy milk for their breakfast. And many travelers have been brought to a traditional breakfast restaurant by their local friends. And many of these breakfast restaurants got 'Yonghe' and 'Soy Milk' in their names. But this one is the one that really started everything in Yonghe since 1955 and gives us a chance to see what all these were originated.

World Soy Bean Milk King is located at the main bridge that links Taipei City and Yonghe (Taipei New City), where many people live. Combining soy milk with other northern Chinese dishes, many francised restaurants spread out during the time that many people would go to watch the Taiwanese baseball players playing in the USA on TV overnight.  These Soy Milk eateries happened to be the only kind of restaurants running at that hour during that period of time. And it still keep this memory there for many locals. Worth trying as the Taiwanese do!
