Yiamas Greeka Taverna

Fans of Greek food must mark Yiamas as a destination. A restaurant, bar, and occasionally comedy club, Yiamas leaves its mark in Taipei. Their menus are extensive, with not only Greek but also Mexican, pizza, and pasta options. The Greek list is what fans should expect: souvlaki, pita, kabob, great salads. The drink menu is also extensive with beer, wine, and cocktails, all reasonably priced.

The wine list in particular is a must for any wine fan; the staff at Yiamas take their wine seriously with Greek imports among others. The dessert list is short but flavorful. All this with a very professional and courteous staff. The occasional Saturday holds stand up comedy to show off the local talent. Be prepared for a 10% service charge on top of what you order. Overall, Yiamas is as authentic as one can get for Greek food in Taiwan.
