Cafe de Riz

Located in Daan District near Xinyi Anhe MRT, Cafe de Riz is for serious fans of rice bowls and sashimi. With a very minimalist atmosphere and a simple menu, Riz markets itself as a lunch place for local corporate workers. That said, there are enough transient guests that come by to try their selections. The prices may be a bit higher than one would expect at a chirashi place, but the portions are also comparatively larger.

Those seeking something less expensive can stay with the consomme rice options, while those wanting a full meal can do the donburi, which includes the Fabulous Seafood Don (a whole bucket of seafood sashimi and more). There are a few dessert options and even coffee, the latter being an uncommon addition to chirashi places; brews from Brazil, Ethiopia, and Indonesia make Riz's choices stand out along with its food.
