Dian Shui Lou
Awarded full five stars by the Northern Taiwan Restaurant Guide, Dian Shui Lou is a high-profile restaurant chain in Taiwan. The restaurant focuses on Jiangsu and Zhejiang style of cooking.
Its xiaolongbao or steamed dumplings are quite scrumptious. Favorites here are the braised tender pork ribs with vegetable and plum sauce as well as the braised specialty tofu with seafood and pork.
Menus are in Chinese, English and Japanese. But note that dishes come in three sizes - small, medium and large. There are four branches in Taipei and one in Taoyuan. The restaurant also holds a DIY class for xiaolongbao. If this sounds interesting, give them a call!
