Haleakala likes to market itself as a Hawaiian restaurant, although the menu is not exactly what is expected from those who know and love that kind of cuisine. This is not to say the food is not worth trying! The restaurant taking the name from a Maui volcano, the interior still maintains a resemblance of tropical aesthetic, with sofa seating and a bar.

For what the menu really consists of, try mini burgers, crab cakes, salads, and meal wraps among others. Having a bar present means Haleakala has a nice extensive list of drinks, including fruity cocktails - some even made without alcohol if one just wants a tasty, fruity mix. This establishment is found within Bellativa shopping center, near Taipei City Hall MRT station.
