Lu Sang

Ding Tai Fung is easily Taipei's most famous local watering hole. But there are plenty of ther equally delectable and delightful local eateries that should not be overlooked. At the faction of the cost (and the queue) of Ding Tai Fung, walk just a few doors down to Lu Sang restaurant. Lu Sang is situated on Taipei's foodie-famed Yongkang Street, just outside of Dongmen MRT station. Lu Sang serves traditional Taiwanese food but focuses on the delicacies of the Northeastern Yilan county. Yilan is known for delicious, seafood-rich meals, influenced by Japanese cuisine. Lu Sang is an excellent restaurant to try some slightly more unusual tastes of Taiwan.
