Description

Day 1: Taipei main station to Hualien station You will be picked up from your hotel in Taipei City, before taking the train to Hualien Station where you will be picked up at the platform by your local tour guide. From here your first stop will be to the East Coast National Scenic Area, before you visit the Pachi Scenic Lookout and proceed to the Caves of the Eight Immortals to enjoy its unique landscape. Afterwards, You will stop by the Stone Umbrella, which are sea-rock pillars which form the unique shape of an umbrella. Later on, you will visit the famous Sansiantai. The story behind it involves three gods who stopped by this area, who left three pairs of footprints which you can observe on the rock. You will then stay at either the Hualien Hoya Resort or Park City Hotel Hualien, depending on availability. Day 2: Hualien - Taroko Gorge - Taipei You will be picked up from your hotel in Hualien, from where you will visit Taroko Gorge, which is one of the seven wonders of Asia. Your guide will take you to the Tunnel of Nine Turns, after which you will proceed to the Eternal Spring Shrine. It is one of the major picturesque points of the park, and provides views of the mountains, waterfalls, and one of the main memorials for veterans. You will then continue to the Swallow Grotto, where you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with authentic Taiwanese food before venturing to a beautiful beach. Following this, you will go to the Hualien Stone Sculptural Park to visit a marble factory. The tour will end at 4:00PM, at which point you will return to Taipei by train. You will arrive at Taipei Main Station at around 7:20-8:00PM, at which point your driver will pick you up and take you back to your hotel in Taipei City.
